I love Virtual Photography - the art of the screenshot; forever hoping to catch that elusive frame, that breathtaking angle with perfect lighting and composition. Over the last few years I've come to embrace the challenge of real-time photography in games like Fallout 76 which unlike other (single-player) games can't be paused, so capturing great action shots becomes a combination of skill, patience and luck.
I'm just a guy who likes to take pictures. The real credit goes to the amazing artists who create these weird, wild and wonderful virtual worlds for us to immerse ourselves in.
So, having said that...am I an artist? A 'real' photographer? Some might disagree but in recent years, Virtual Photography has become internationally accepted as a legitimate form of photographic and artistic expression, complete with competitions and awards, supported by companies like NVIDIA, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Topaz Labs and Flickr. All I can say is I love the art-form and I'm here to stay.
I'm very much into Fallout games (as you may have guessed!) but I do occasionally post stuff from other games I play. I'm a proud member of the Society Of Virtual Photographers.
I also post Fallout stuff on Instagram and Twitter.
